DAY 1

Arrive in Bali and transfer to Ubud, the lush and cultural heart of the island. Settle into your home for the first part of the journey at the Evitel Resort Ubud, where you’ll have time to unwind and settle into the Bali rhythm. In the evening, we’ll come together for a welcome dinner at the hotel; the perfect opportunity to meet the group, connect, and begin our Bali adventure together.

DAY 2

Start the day with a visit to Swing Heaven, one of Bali’s most popular swing experiences. Surrounded by lush rice terraces and tropical jungle landscapes, this is your chance to take in some incredible views while capturing those unforgettable Bali photos and videos. We’ll then continue to the enchanting Sangeh Monkey Forest, where you’ll have the opportunity to get up close with the local monkeys, feed them, and capture some memorable moments amongst the forest surroundings. Our final stop of the day takes us into Ubud City Markets, where you can browse colorful stalls filled with local handicrafts, fashion, artwork, and unique souvenirs. 

DAY 3

Begin the day with a visit to Tirta Empul Temple, one of Bali’s most important and beautiful Hindu temples, known for its sacred spring water and traditional Balinese architecture. Today’s visit will focus on exploring the temple, learning about its significance, and taking in its peaceful spiritual atmosphere. From there, we’ll continue to Ulu Petanu Waterfall, a tranquil hidden gem surrounded by lush tropical forest. Take a refreshing swim in the natural pool beneath the waterfall, cool off in the water, or simply relax amongst the peaceful jungle surroundings. Lunch will be at Pangkon Bali Resto, where you can enjoy authentic Indonesian cuisine in a relaxed setting. Lunch will be at your own expense. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Tibumana Waterfall, a beautiful single cascade tucked away amongst dense greenery. Take a dip in the refreshing natural pool, swim beneath the waterfall, or simply unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. With two beautiful waterfalls, plenty of time to swim, and the lush Bali jungle all around you, this is the perfect day to slow down, connect with nature, and experience a different side of the island before returning to your hotel.  

DAY 4

Today is completely yours. Enjoy a full free day in Ubud and choose how you want to experience it. Get your adrenaline going with white water rafting or an ATV adventure, discover the flavours of Bali with a traditional cooking class, create something special with Balinese silver jewellery making, indulge in a traditional spa treatment, explore more of Ubud, or simply take a slower day by the hotel pool. There’s no set schedule today, just the freedom to enjoy Bali your way.

DAY 5

Today we leave the peaceful surroundings of Ubud and make our way to Legian, a vibrant coastal area known for its beautiful beach, buzzing streets, cafés, boutique shopping, and unforgettable sunsets. We’ll be staying at Sevn Legian Hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, giving you easy access to everything Legian has to offer. The afternoon is yours to explore. Relax at a beach club, wander through local boutiques, discover Bali’s café culture, enjoy some downtime by the hotel pool, or make your way to the beach to watch the sunset. As evening arrives, experience Legian after dark, with plenty of restaurants, bars, live entertainment, and nightlife to explore.

DAY 6

Today, we head out onto the water for an unforgettable Nusa Lembongan island day cruise. Cruising from Bali to Nusa Lembongan, we’ll spend the morning at the Bali Hai floating pontoon, where you can make the most of the tropical waters. Choose how adventurous you want to be; snorkel amongst vibrant coral reefs, ride the banana boat, take a spin down the waterslide, or simply enjoy the water and soak up the island atmosphere. For those looking for an extra adventure, optional scuba diving and sea walking experiences are also available. After the morning’s activities, we’ll head to Bali Hai Beach Club on Nusa Lembongan to slow things down. Swim in the lagoon pool, relax by the beach, and enjoy a tropical BBQ buffet lunch surrounded by beautiful island scenery. 

DAY 7

Before our journey comes to an end, there will be an optional opportunity to create a lasting reminder of the trip with our group tattoo experience for those who would like to take part. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. Take some time for last minute shopping, revisit a favorite spot, relax by the pool, head to the beach, or simply enjoy your final afternoon in Bali. In the evening, we’ll come together for our farewell dinner, a chance to celebrate the journey, reflect on the memories we’ve created, and enjoy one final evening together. Dinner will be at your own expense.

DAY 8

Our Bali adventure comes to an end. Enjoy a final morning at your leisure before our transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Take one last moment to soak in the island atmosphere before saying goodbye to Bali, until next time.

- Do I need to arrange my own transportation? 

Airport transfers are included on the first and last day of the trip.

- Do I need a visa to travel to Bali?

Yes, a visa is required to enter Bali. You can purchase a Visa on Arrival at the airport when you arrive, or apply for an electronic visa online before you travel.

- What is the weather like?

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with warm temperatures year round, typically ranging from 79°F to 90°F. The dry season runs from April to October, while the wet season is from November to March, bringing higher humidity and occasional tropical showers.

- What should I pack?

Pack light, breathable clothing such as linen, cotton, or athletic wear. Bring swimwear, cover ups, comfortable walking shoes and, sandals. You should also pack modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees for temple visits.

- Is Bali expensive?

Bali is generally very affordable compared to the United States. You will find great food, experiences, and shopping at a wide range of price points.

- Should I bring cash or card?

Both are widely used. Credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants, and shops, while cash is useful for markets, small vendors, and tips. It is best to have both.

- Will my phone work?

Please contact your service provider to discuss your roaming options. Alternatively, you can purchase an eSIM or local SIM card for service throughout your trip. WiFi is widely available in hotels and cafes.

- What is the food like?

Bali offers a diverse and delicious food scene, from traditional Indonesian dishes to international cuisine. Enjoy local favorites such as nasi goreng, satay, and fresh seafood, as well as a wide range of cafés, restaurants, and dining experiences to suit every taste and budget.

- Are there any cultural norms I should know?

Bali has a strong cultural heritage, and visitors are encouraged to respect local customs. When visiting temples, dress modestly, follow local guidelines, and be mindful of religious traditions and ceremonies.

- What plug type is used?

Bali uses Type C and Type F plugs. We recommend bringing a suitable travel adaptor if your devices use a different plug type.

- Is Bali safe?

Bali is considered very safe for travelers. As with any destination, stay aware of your surroundings and keep valuables secure.

- What’s the difference between Ubud and Legian?

Ubud is Bali’s cultural and nature hub, offering jungle scenery, rice fields, wellness experiences, and a peaceful atmosphere. Legian is a stylish beachside destination known for its restaurants, shopping, beach clubs, and nightlife. The two areas provide very different but equally memorable Bali experiences.

- Do I need to dress conservatively the whole time?

No. Modest dress is only required at temples or religious sites. Otherwise, you can dress normally, especially in tourist areas and beach destinations.

- Can I drink the tap water?

It is not recommended to drink tap water in Bali. Stick to bottled or filtered water, which is widely available.

- Do I need any vaccines to travel to Bali?

There are no required vaccines for entry from the United States. It is recommended to be up to date on routine vaccinations and consult your doctor if needed.

- What currency is used?

Bali uses Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

- Should I exchange money before arriving?

It is not necessary. You can exchange money upon arrival or withdraw local currency from ATMs.

- Is tipping expected?
